Huge Surge In Site Traffic

Webjet today announced a huge surge in Internet site traffic as a consequence of the domestic aviation disruption in Australia.
Commenting, Webjet's Managing Director, David Clarke, said "Webjet is of course closely aligned with Qantas and provides our customers with complete online access to all Qantas flights, schedules and prices, along of course with all international carriers."
"With the huge uncertainty in relation to domestic travel arrangements, our site provides consumers with the opportunity, without waiting on telephones, to immediately rearrange flights and seek alternatives on Qantas domestic services. In the first two hours today alone our site traffic has more than trebled. We are uniquely placed in the current circumstances".
