Macquarie Corporate Jets In On Webjet Deal

Webjet selects Macquarie Corporate as complex managed hosting partner
Sydney, Australia - 19 January 2004 - Macquarie Corporate Telecommunications has been chosen as the preferred supplier of complex managed hosting solutions to Australian online travel company, Webjet.
Under the deal, Macquarie will host Webjet's newly launched website - HYPERLINK "http://www.webjet.com.au" webjet.com.au - which aggregates local airline, car hire and hotel bookings, and enables consumers to manage and book their own travel itineraries online, in real time.
David Clark, Managing Director of Webjet said "Macquarie's strong pedigree in working with Windows 2003 applications provided us with access to a team of Microsoft certified specialists. They proved to become an integral part the Webjet team during the design phase and worked in partnership with us to develop the unique infrastructure we needed to host our site."
Macquarie's complex managed hosting solution for Webjet includes fully managed servers, load balancing, SAN storage, clustered SQL and Microsoft Windows 2003, Symantec anti-virus, managed firewall and intrusion detection systems. The infrastructure is supported with 24x7 security monitoring and regular patch upgrades and is backed by Macquarie's Premier-Class service level guarantee.
The entire solution is underpinned by the security, high availability and redundancy of Macquarie's $35 million dedicated hosting environment, the Intellicentre.
