- Tiger Airways low fare flights available on Webjet.com.au from Tuesday 17 February 2009
Australian consumers will now be able to access Tiger Airways low fares using online travel retailer webjet.com.au, after the airline announced a major new marketing agreement with Webjet.
Shelley Roberts, managing director of Tiger Airways said "smart travelers already know that Tiger Airways is the true low fare airline in Australia and they have already saved themselves millions of dollars by flying with Tiger Airways.
"Other airlines offer guarantees and other gimics bundled in mountains of restrictions and fine print to try and convince travelers that they have competitive pricing. Tiger Airways just concentrates on offering low, low fares on a consistent basis. Now that Tiger Airways fares will be included on Webjet, Australians looking for the best fare can easily see what a great deal Tiger Airways really offers."
Tiger Airways fares will be available on Webjet from Tuesday 17 February 2009.
Richard Noon, CEO of Webjet said "we are pleased to be including Tiger Airways flights on our website. They have brought important choice and competition to the Australian market and Webjet is very happy to be distributing Tiger Airways as it grows its network across Australia. Webjet via its easy to read matrix display gives travelers an efficient way to see and book all deals."
This announcement comes as Tiger Airways continues to grow its pawprint in Australia with the opening of its second base in Adelaide on 1 March. The new base will add five additional routes to its network on top of its 10 current routes.
