Webjet today announced entry into the adventure holiday market through an online distribution association with leading adventure tour operator, Intrepid Travel.
Commenting, Webjet's Business Development Manager, Dean Maidment, said "We are very excited about being able to offer our customers direct online booking access to the vast range of adventure tours available at discounted rates directly from one of the leaders in adventure travel.
"Our alliance with Intrepid perfectly complements both our online DIY model and our product expansion strategy.
"The online distribution deal is in line with Intrepid's desire to make its broad range of trips easily accessible to the consumer."
Australasian Sales & Marketing Manager, Robyn Nixon, says "The Adventure Travel market is appealing to a broader range of people than ever before, people want real life experiences on their holidays and Intrepid's trips offer travellers that choice".
The online service, which goes live on the Webjet web site in early December, follows recent launches by Webjet into package holidays, ski holidays, coach tours, cruises, online hotel deals and, most recently, last minute specials.
