Webjet Extends Travel Services Aggregator (TSA) To Corporate Market
9th February 2004
Webjet today announced the formal launch of webjet.biz incorporating a corporate market extension of Webjet's recently launched Travel Services Aggregator (TSA). The new site will go live next Monday 16 February.
Commenting, Webjet's Managing Director, David Clarke, said: "Following the exceptional customer acceptance of our TSA we have now extended the TSA into the corporate market along with special features designed to appeal to small businesses who wish to transact their travel arrangements online without the cost of an intermediary. These features include:
- Special security and password access
- Specially negotiated corporate fares
- Full multiple domestic airline integration and hotel supply
- GST invoicing
- Profile and preference management control
- Corporate credit card vault
As previously announced Webjet has contracted the marketing of its corporate account activities to Masterwork Results Pty Ltd and already a significant number of small business accounts have been contracted. Those activities will now be accelerated to small and medium size businesses who are increasingly finding that the availability of special nett only fares, along with the convenience of 24/7 access central components of small business efficiency".
We expect that this operation will add an important revenue stream over the next 12 months with virtually no increase in operating cost.
