Webjet Growth Accelerates

Webjet, preparatory to a series of investor presentations, advises the market that the new financial year growth reported to the market on 1 September has further accelerated.
Commenting, Webjet MD David Clarke said:
"At the mid September point, our TTV growth has further accelerated. If the current September rate continues to the end of the month, September will show a percentage increase on last year of approximately 32%. This compares with August growth YOY of 28%.
In a further development, Webjet will be releasing its Travel Service Aggregator Gen III in the last week of September. TSA III is the product of over 6 months of technology development and consumer focus group research and is designed to facilitate higher look to book conversions and further propel Webjet's market leadership.
Whilst overall economic indicators remain uncertain, we believe our current extensive marketing activities are continuing to deliver an increase in market share."
