Webjet Provides Resorts Online

Leading internet travel service Webjet has formed an alliance with Australian travel technology provider eCommerce Consultants for the online distribution of hotel and resort accommodation using the RoomsRez booking facility.
RoomsRez which went into operation on the Webjet site this week, currently provides consumers with instant access to a selection of popular Queensland resort and apartment style accommodation offers designed specifically for the internet.
According to Webjet Business Development Manager, Dean Maidment "unlike many other online accommodation systems, inventory and rates available via the Webjet-RoomsRez facility are loaded directly by the suppliers. Our customers will therefore get booking access to the latest specials on offer. We are starting with Queensland and will extend this product range to include other resort destinations, including Bali in the coming weeks. We have no doubt this new service will be very popular with consumers who are looking for accommodation bargains on the internet."
eCommerce Consultants Director Gary Marshall, believes "resort and hotel properties will benefit significantly with Webjet distribution, and will be anxious to provide more and more accommodation specials to compliment the discount airfares already on offer from Webjet"
