Webjet Renews Arnold Technology Contract

Webjet today announced that it has renewed its long standing contract for the provision of its booking engine services with Arnold Technology through to the beginning of 2004.
Commenting, Webjet's Managing Director, David Clarke, said "The Arnold technology platform has been and continues to be an integral component in Webjet sales growth and provides a very particular tailor made solution for the Australian travel market. The platform enjoys a high rating from our customer base and in our view is currently the leading platform in this part of the world and certainly from the consumer's perspective provides the best combination, flexibility and ease of use.
"Webjet recently announced a major equity deal with Galileo and a development contract with Microsoft which will lead to a further step forward in technology in 2004. Webjet is continuing to work with Arnold and is exploring opportunities for ongoing mutual collaboration past the end of the current agreement".
