Webjet Stay Then Pay 100% up - Overall TTV growth continues
Webjet today announced that hotel sales under the Stay Then Pay product banner have this year to date increased by approximately 100% relative to last year.
Commenting, Webjet Managing Director David Clarke said:
Stay Then Pay is a unique online hotel offering which brings to the customer approximately 40,000 hotels world wide with full year round inventory including peak periods where accommodation may be secured with only a $10 upfront payment with the balance paid at the time of stay.
Since our media launch in the Christmas New Year period, sales have approximately doubled relative to last year and although still from a low base, are currently the fastest growing component of our business.
We are very encouraged by these early signs and also note that our overall TTV growth has continued the trend of 37% as advised to the market with our half year results.
