Webjet Today Announced A Rapid Acceleration Of Site Visits

Commenting, Webjet's Managing Director, David Clarke, said "As a direct result of our new year advertising, site traffic has increased from an average of approximately 3,000 visits a day in the December quarter, to approximately 4,000 in January and now 5,000 in February, with some days peaking at approximately 6,000 visits. There will of course be a lag time in actual bookings for this activity.
"Our January visits are better than budget, with February tracking also better than budget at the half way point. Whilst market conditions are somewhat flat, our new year's advertising campaign, under the tag "don't you just love competition", appears to have triggered the next phase of our growth. The ongoing expenditure is contained within budget by very careful media placement and leverage".
