Leading online travel provider, WEBJET, today announced the introduction of an enhanced booking engine which takes online booking intelligence to new levels.

Developed in conjunction with Atlas Travel Technologies over the last six months, (a joint venture between Telstra Australia and Amadeus Europe), Webjet now provides full multi-sector itinerary management, special fare searches and a greatly streamlined customer interface.

Webjet's Managing Director, David Clarke, said the new engine provides Webjet customers with easy access to all scheduled airline services including seat availability and pricing, with streamlined access to Webjet's Hot Deals as well as over 40,000 Hotels, car rentals, destination information, and online travel insurance.

"The new streamlined interface is very user friendly and will store, via a simplified customer profile, preferences in relation to Airline sections, Hotels and meals. The booking engine also intelligently checks itinerary integrity and is supported online by Webcam, which provides our customers with video access to our National Service Centre ø an industry first in Australia, if not the world!
