Webjet's Travel Services Aggregator Release - Update
4th December 2003
Webjet today announced that the release date for the new Travel Services Aggregator platform has been locked in for January 14, immediately following Christmas holidays and linked to coincide with January promotional activity.
Webjet Managing Director, David Clarke, today released further details of the platform and commented:
"The key customer features which we believe will provide Webjet with a significant market lead and differentiation will include:
- An intelligent best buy air fare search for international and domestic flights
- Simplified shopping cart pricing
- A unique credit card vault, providing high security and simplified credit card processing
- A "one-stop shop" allowing multi-stop itineraries with flights, cars and hotels, seamlessly bundled together."
We believe the platform represents the largest development advance in Internet travel booking capabilities.
Further updates will be released to the market by Webjet and Microsoft Australia before the end of December.
